I’m debating registering for it as I’m still scaling every single WOD. What do you think?
Hey! I would register anyways! Last years first WOD was:
WOMEN – Proceed through the sequence below completing as many reps as possible in 17 minutes of:
45 pound Snatch, 30 reps
75 pound Snatch, 30 reps
100 pound Snatch, 30 reps
120 pound Snatch, as many reps as possible
Yes— it looks hard, but when I did the open last year I had never snatched more than 60lbs. BUT then at the open, because your adrenalin is pumping- I snatched 75lbs more than once. For me- what counted was my time. A lot of girls at the time couldn’t do the 100lb snatch so if u finished through 20 burpees in lets say 15 minutes and the girl next to u finished the same amt of reps but at 15:01, u beat her. Does that make since? It’s really a test to see how hard u really can push yourself, and believe me- at some point- u will surprise yourself. It’s only $20. And then u can compare your standings from this year to next. That’s the fun part. Good luck if you compete!!
